Replacement

1. 1

   Remove the outside rearview mirror mounting cover (A).

   

2. 2

   After loosening the mounting screw, separate the outside rearview mirror (A).

   

3. 3

   Remove the outside rearview mirror after disconnecting the connector (A).

   

4. 4

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

Disassembly

[Housing Cover]

1. 1

   Remove the outside rearview mirror assembly.

   (Refer to Body — "Outside Rearview Mirror")

2. 2

   Insert a flat-tip screwdriver as shown in the illustration below, then remove the mirror (A) by applying a quick force.

   

3. 3

   Disconnect the mirror heater connector (A) and the rear corner radar indicator connector (B).

   

4. 4

   Remove the housing cover mounting screw.

5. 5

   Using a puller, remove the housing cover (A).

   

6. 6

   Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

[Scalp]

1. 1

   Remove the outside rearview mirror assembly.

   (Refer to Body — "Outside Rearview Mirror")

2. 2

   Insert a flat-tip screwdriver as shown in the illustration below, then remove the mirror (A) by applying a quick force.

   

3. 3

   Disconnect the mirror heater connector (A) and the rear corner radar indicator connector (B).

   

4. 4

   Remove the scalp.

   1. Apply protective tape to the tip of the screwdriver.

      

   2. Insert the screwdriver where you can see the back of the scalp.

      

   3. Hold the mirror assembly in one hand, and hold the screwdriver in the other hand and strike it vertically, as shown in the illustration below.

      

5. 5

   Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
