Repair Procedures

Adjustment

Glass Alignment Inspection

  1. Check the alignment of the sliding glass (C) between the front glass (A) and the roof panel (B), and adjust if necessary.

    Alignment Adjustment

    Standard Value [mm (in)]

    (1) Front edge: 0 mm (0 in)

    (2) Rear edge: 0 mm (0 in)

  2. Tilt the sliding glass using the sunroof switch.

  3. Remove both mechanism side covers (A).

  4. Adjust the glass height by slightly loosening the screws (A).

  5. Fully close the sliding glass using the sunroof switch.

  6. Install the mounting screws (A) after adjusting the glass height.

Emergency Operation

  1. Use the emergency mode of the sunroof only when the sunroof needs to be opened or closed in case of engine failure.

  2. Use a hex key to open or close the sunroof after removing the roof trim. Do not apply excessive force when opening or closing the sunroof.

  3. If necessary, reinitialize the sunroof according to the reset procedure.
