Manual Heating and Air Conditioning Control

You can also use the heating and air conditioning by pressing the desired function buttons, without pressing the AUTO button. In this case, the system function depends on the order in which the buttons are pressed.

If any other button (or dial) is pressed or turned during automatic operation, the functions that were not selected manually remain automatic.

Floor/Windshield (A, C, F, D)

Head Area (B, D)

The airflow is directed to the upper body and head area. In addition, the air vents can be adjusted to change the direction of airflow from the vents.

Floor (C, A, D, E)

Most of the airflow is directed to the floor, and a small portion is directed to the windshield and the side window defroster vents.

When you select the defrost mode, the following system settings are automatically applied:

To deactivate the defrost mode, press the mode button or the defrost button again, or press AUTO.

Lüftungsdüsen im Kombiinstrument

The vents can be opened and closed separately using the horizontal control wheel. To close the vent, turn the control down to the minimum position. To open the vent, turn the control up to the desired position.

Zusätzlich können Sie an diesen Düsen durch Betätigung des Einstellhebels die Richtung des Luftstroms verändern (siehe Abbildung).

Temperature Control

Turning the temperature control fully clockwise to the far right position sets the maximum temperature (HI).

Durch Drehen des Temperaturreglers bis in die äußerste linke Reglerstellung wird die minimale Temperatur (Lo) erreicht.

When the control is turned, the temperature increases or decreases in steps of 0.5 °C. If the lowest temperature is selected, the air conditioning remains on continuously.

Temperaturumrechnung

You can switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit as follows:

Press and hold the AUTO button, and at the same time press and hold the AUTO button for 4 seconds.

The display changes from Celsius to Fahrenheit, or from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Wenn die Batterie enladen oder abgeklemmt wurde, wird die Temperaturmodusanzeige auf Grad Celsius zurückgesetzt.

Frischluft-/Umlufschaltung

This control allows you to switch between supplying outside air (fresh air) and recirculating the air inside the vehicle (recirculation).

Um die Stellung der Frisch-/Umluft-Regelung zu ändern, drücken Sie die Taste.

Recirculation Position

Wenn die Umluftposition Ausgewählt ist, wird Luft aus dem Fahrgastraum durch das Heizsystem gesaugt und gemäß der ausgewählten Funktion erwärmt oder gekühlt.

Frischluftposition

When the fresh air position is selected, outside air enters the vehicle and is heated or cooled according to the selected function.

WARNING

Längerer Betrieb der Heizung in der Umluftposition (ohne eingeschaltete Klimaanlage) kann Beschlagen der Windschutzscheibe und der Seitenfenster verursachen und die Luft im Fahrgastraum kann stickig werden.

Also, prolonged use of the air conditioning in the recirculation position causes excessively dry air in the passenger compartment.

WARNING

• Prolonged operation of the climate control in recirculation mode may increase humidity inside the vehicle. This may cause the windows to fog up and reduce visibility.
• Do not sleep in a vehicle with the air conditioning or heating system on. Lack of oxygen or a drop in body temperature may cause serious injury or death.
• Prolonged operation of the climate control in recirculation mode may cause fatigue, drowsiness and loss of control of the vehicle. Use fresh air mode as much as possible so that outside air is supplied.

Gebläsedrehzahlregler

Use the blower speed control to set the desired blower speed.

Je höher die Gebläsedrehzahl ist, desto größer ist das zugeführte Luftvolumen.

Air Conditioning (A/C)

Press the A/C button to turn on the air conditioning. The indicator light in the switch illuminates when the air conditioning is on. To turn off the air conditioning, press the A/C button again.

OFF (AUTO) Mode

Drücken Sie die Taste OFF, um die Klimaanlage auszuschalten. Die Frischluft-/ Umlufschaltung können jedoch weiterhin bedient werden, solange die Zündung eingeschaltet ist.
