TPMS-Einstellung

Sie können das TPMS über das folgende Verfahren selbst einstellen:

1. Pumpen Sie alle Reifen auf den empfohlenen Reifendruck auf.

2. Start the engine, make sure the vehicle does not move, and press and hold the TPMS switch (2) on the driver's seat side for at least 3 seconds.

3. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Warnanzeige ( ) flashes for 4 seconds.

4. Überprüfen Sie, ob folgende Meldung auf dem Kombiinstrument erscheint (ausstattungsabhängig).

❈ If the warning light does not flash or the message does not appear, repeat the procedure from step 2).

For the recommended tire pressure for this vehicle, refer to the "Tires and Wheels" section in chapter 9-06 or the tire pressure label on the driver's door frame.

To use the full functionality of the TPMS, the system must be reset in the following cases.

❈ Fälle, in denen eine Einstellung des TPMS-Systems erforderlich ist:

• When repairing or replacing a wheel or tire.
• When changing the tire or wheel position.
• When adjusting the tire pressure.
• When the tire pressure warning light illuminates.
• After replacing the suspension or ABS components.

WARNING

If the system is reset without adjusting the tire pressure, false warning messages may appear, or the warning may not appear even when the tire pressure is significantly low.

Make sure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure before resetting. If the system is not reset in situations where it is required, false warning messages may appear, or the warning may not appear even when the tire pressure is significantly low.

The system will not be reset if the SET switch (2) is pressed while driving. Make sure the vehicle is stopped and press and hold the switch (2) for at least 3 seconds.

• Always make sure the tires are cold before inflating. "Cold" tires means the vehicle has been parked for at least 3 hours or has been driven no more than 1.6 km.
