(1) SRS Control Module
(2) Frontal Impact Sensor
(3) Side Impact Sensor

WARNING

  • Do not strike or allow any objects to impact the areas where the airbag or sensors are installed. This may cause unexpected airbag deployment, which may result in serious injury or death.
  • If the installation position or angle of the sensors is changed, the airbags may deploy when they should not, or may not deploy when they should, resulting in serious injury or death. Therefore, do not attempt to perform service on or around the airbag sensors. It is recommended that the system be serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
  • Problems may occur if the angle sensor settings are changed due to deformation of the front bumper, body, or B-pillar, and side impact sensor pillars are installed. We recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized Kia dealer.
  • Your vehicle is designed to absorb impact and deploy the airbags in certain collisions. Installing bumper guards or replacing the bumper with non-genuine parts may adversely affect the collision and airbag deployment performance of your vehicle.
