When using a floor mat on the front floor carpet, make sure it is secured to the floor mat anchors in your vehicle. This keeps the floor mat from sliding forward.

WARNING

The following must be observed when installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle.

  • Make sure the floor mats are securely attached to the vehicle body by the floor mat anchor(s) before driving the vehicle.
  • Do NOT use ANY floor mats that cannot be firmly secured to the floor mat anchors in the vehicle.
  • Do not stack floor mats on top of each other (for example, an all-weather rubber mat on top of a carpet mat). Only one mat should be installed in each position.
    IMPORTANT – Your vehicle was manufactured with driver's side floor mat anchors designed to hold the mat securely in place. To avoid any interference with pedal operation, Kia recommends that a Kia floor mat designed for use in your vehicle be installed.
