The power outlet is designed to supply power to mobile phones or other devices designed to operate on the vehicle's electrical system. Devices should draw less than 10 amperes with the engine running.
CAUTION
- Use the power outlet only while the engine is running, and remove the plug after use. Using an accessory plug for extended periods with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Do not use electrical accessories or equipment with a power consumption greater than 12V (10A). This may damage the power outlet or the vehicle wiring harness.
- Use only 12 V electrical accessories with a rating below 10A.
- Adjust the air conditioner or heater to the minimum operating level when using the power outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet. These devices may cause excessive noise and malfunction of other electronic systems or devices used in your vehicle.
- Make sure that electrical devices are securely connected. If not, this may cause malfunction of the electrical systems.
- If you use an electrical device with the battery, electric current may flow from the electrical device into the vehicle and may cause malfunction of the electrical systems. Only use electrical devices that can prevent current from flowing into the vehicle.
WARNING
Do not put a finger or foreign object (pin, etc.) into the outlet and do not touch it with wet hands. You may get an electric shock or a fire may occur.
