Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in the fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Supply System - "Relieve Fuel Pressure")

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  3. Disconnect the injector connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the quick-connect coupling of the fuel feed tube (A).

  5. Remove the delivery pipe and injector assembly (B) after loosening the mounting bolts (A).

    Tightening torque: 18.6 – 24 N·m

  6. Separate the injector (B) from the delivery pipe (A) after removing the clip (C).

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
