The FCA system provides warning messages, warning sounds, and emergency braking depending on the risk level of a forward collision, for example, when the vehicle ahead suddenly brakes.

The driver can select the timing of the initial warning in the user settings on the LCD display. Initial forward collision warning options include Early, Normal, or Late initial warning timing.
