To stop the engine in idle stop mode:

Manual transaxle

1. Reduce the vehicle speed to less than 5 km/h.

2. Shift the transmission to N (Neutral).

3. Release the clutch pedal.

Automatic Transmission

1. Reduce the vehicle speed to less than 5 km/h.

2. Depress the brake pedal.

The engine will stop and the green AUTO STOP indicator () on the instrument cluster will illuminate. If your vehicle is equipped with a supervision cluster, a notification will appear on the LCD display.

NOTICE

  • You must reach a speed of at least 10 km/h after the last idle stop.
  • If you unfasten the driver's seat belt or open the driver's door (hood) in idle stop mode, the ISG OFF button indicator will illuminate and the ISG system will be deactivated. If your vehicle is equipped with a supervision cluster, a notification will appear on the LCD display. Turn the ignition key to the START position to start the engine manually.
