The ISG system will operate under the following conditions:

- Driver's seat belt is fastened.
- Driver's door and hood are closed.
- Brake vacuum pressure is adequate.
- Battery is sufficiently charged.
- Outside temperature is above -2°C (28.4°F).
- Outside temperature is below 32°C (89.6°F).
- Engine coolant temperature is not too low.

NOTICE

  • If the ISG system does not meet these operating conditions, the ISG system is deactivated and the ISG OFF button indicator will illuminate.
  • If the indicator remains on continuously, check the operating conditions.
