Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the side cover of the airbag [LH] (A) using a trim remover.
  2. Using a trim removal tool, remove the front door sill trim (A).
  3. Remove the hood latch handle (A) using a puller.
  4. Using a trim removal tool, remove the hood side trim (A).
  5. Remove the passenger compartment fuse box cover (A).
  6. Separate the lower crash pad panel (A) after loosening the bolts and screws.
  7. Disconnect the lower side airbag switch connector (A).
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
