Repair Procedures

Replacement

[Steering Column Cover Upper Panel]
  1. Using a puller, remove the steering column cover upper panel (A).
  2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  3. Remove the steering column cover upper panel.
  4. Remove the side cover of the airbag [LH] (A) using a trim remover.
  5. Remove the hood latch handle (A) using a puller.
  6. Using a trim removal tool, remove the front door sill trim (A).
  7. Using a trim removal tool, remove the hood side trim (A).
  8. Remove the passenger compartment fuse box cover (A).
  9. Separate the lower crash pad panel (A) after loosening the bolts and screws.
  10. Disconnect the lower side airbag switch connector (A).
  11. Remove the steering column cover lower panel (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
