Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance of the NTC and the heating element. NTC resistance (black / red, black): 10.0 kΩ ± 3% (at 23–27 °C). Heating element resistance (yellow): 1.85 ± 0.2 Ω (at 22 °C ±1 °C)
  2. Measure the temperature.
    • The steering wheel surface temperature should rise from -20°C to 20°C within 6 minutes.
    • The steering wheel surface temperature should be maintained at 38 °C after 25 minutes.
