Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the engine room cover. G 1.0 MPI (See Engine Mechanical System - Engine Room Cover) G 1.2 MPI (See Engine Mechanical System - Engine Room Cover)
  3. Remove the horn (A) by disconnecting the horn connector (B) and loosening the mounting bolt.

Installation

  1. Install the horn after connecting the horn connector.
  2. Install the engine compartment cover.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. The horn relay on this vehicle is built into the engine compartment relay box.
