Description and Operation
Description
This system uses a light sensor to automatically turn on the tail lamps and headlamps based on changes in ambient light conditions. It is activated when the vehicle enters or exits a tunnel, or when ambient lighting conditions change due to rain, snow, or fog. The precautions relevant to the use of this system are as follows.- Do not install any other device on top of this device.
- Be sure to switch to manual mode in poor visibility conditions, such as fog, heavy rain or cloudy weather.
- Light intensity in actual driving conditions is not always constant, and the lamp ON/OFF timing may vary greatly depending on climate, season, and surrounding environment.
- Use this system only during sunrise and sunset, and manually adjust the lamp on/off under normal conditions.
- A malfunction may occur if a light-blocking coating that may change the interior illumination is applied.
