Maintenance
Low-Profile Tire
In this manual: Maintenance
~1min read
Tires with a low aspect ratio, below 50, are provided for a sporty appearance.
Because low aspect ratio tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may ride less comfortably and produce more noise compared to standard tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low aspect ratio tire is shorter than usual, the wheel and tire are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.
- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully because tires and wheels may be damaged. Inspect the tires and wheels after driving.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole, or curb, drive slowly so that the tires and wheels are not damaged.
- If the tire is damaged, inspect the tire condition or contact a specialized workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
- To prevent tire damage, inspect the tire condition and pressure every 3,000 km.
CAUTION
- Tire damage is not easy to recognize by sight. However, if there is the slightest indication of tire damage, even if you cannot see the damage with your own eyes, inspect or replace the tire, because tire damage may cause air to leak from the tire.
- If the tire is damaged by driving on a rough road, off-road terrain, a pothole, a manhole, or a curb, the damage will not be covered by the warranty.
- You can find tire information on the tire sidewall.
