Description

The ISG OFF switch on the floor console can be used to deactivate the ISG function.

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the front console upper cover.

    (Refer to Body - Floor Console Assembly)

  3. Disconnect the front console upper cover switch connector (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the front console upper cover switch (A).

Installation

  1. Install the front console upper cover switch.

  2. Connect the front console upper cover switch connector.

  3. Install the front console upper cover.

  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. Remove the ISG switch.

    (Refer to ISG System - "ISG Switch")

  2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch.

  3. If there is no continuity, replace the ISG OFF switch.

    ISG Switch Terminal Tester connection
    ON 1 - 8 Continuity
    OFF 1 - 8 No continuity
