Low-Profile Tire
Low aspect ratio tires, with an aspect ratio of less than 50, are designed for a sporty appearance.
Because low-profile tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may provide a harsher ride and be noisier than conventional tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than usual, low-profile tires and wheels are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.
- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully, as tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole, or curb, slow down to avoid damaging the tires and wheels.
- If the tire is damaged, we recommend that you inspect the tire condition or contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- To prevent tire damage, inspect the tire condition and pressure every 3,000 km (1,900 miles).
• Tire damage is not easy to see. If you suspect the tire is damaged, inspect or replace the tire, because damaged tires may cause air to leak from the tire.
• If a tire is damaged by driving on rough roads, off-road, hitting a pothole, a curb, or a road debris, the damage is not covered by the warranty.
• Tire information can be found on the tire sidewall.
