1. Rear panel assembly

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel (A).

    (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")

  2. Disconnect the washer nozzle hose (A) and the upper stop lamp connector (B).

  3. Using a screwdriver, carefully lift the latches (A) on both ends of the tailgate lift support (B).

  4. Remove the tailgate assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

    Tightening Torque: 21.6–26 N·m

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
