Using the remover, remove the windshield side moulding assembly (A).

Cut the adhesive using the cutter (A).

Cut the sealant at the edge (B) by pulling the piano wire (A) to the left and right.

If the piano wire (A) is visible outside the body, reinsert it into the body.

Cut the sealant at (A-A), (B-B), and (C-C) by pulling the piano wire (A) to the left and right.

Carefully lift the windshield (B) using the glass holder (A).

Installation
Using a knife, carefully scrape off the old adhesive to a thickness of approximately 2 mm (0.0079 in) on the adhesive surface around the entire windshield opening flange:
Clean the bonding surface with a sponge dampened with alcohol. After cleaning, keep the surface free of oil, grease and water.
Using a sponge, apply a thin coat of body primer to the remaining adhesive around the windshield opening flange. Allow the body primer to dry for at least 10 minutes.

Apply a thin layer of glass primer to the outer side of the fasteners.

Load the adhesive into a cartridge without air pockets to ensure continuous delivery. Load the cartridge into the sealant gun and apply a bead of adhesive (B) around the edge of the windshield (A) between the clip and the molding, as shown. Apply the adhesive within 30 minutes after applying the glass primer. Make the bead slightly thicker at each corner.

Use the suction cups (A) to hold the windshield (B) over the opening, align it with the installation marks (C) made in step 15, and set it onto the adhesive. Apply light pressure to the windshield until its edges are fully seated. Do not open or close the doors while the adhesive is curing.

Install the windshield side molding assembly (A).

Install the hood upper cover.
(Refer to "Upper Cover Cap")
Allow the adhesive to cure for at least one hour, then spray water onto the roof and check for leaks. If there is a leak, allow it to dry, then repair with sealant.
Install the LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) unit.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) Unit)
Install the inside rear view mirror assembly.
(Refer to Mirror - "Inside Rear View Mirror")
Install the front pillar garnish.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Front Pillar Trim")
Install the roof side molding.
(Refer to Body Side Moldings - "Roof Side Molding")
Perform SPATC (Service Point Auto Test Calibration) of the LDWS unit.
