WARNING - Windshield Defrosting
Do not use the (
) or (
) position during cooling operation in very humid weather. The difference between the outside air temperature and the windshield temperature may cause the outside surface of the windshield to fog up, resulting in loss of visibility.
- For maximum defrosting, set the temperature control to the far right (HOT) position and the fan speed control to the maximum speed.
- If warm air to the floor is required while defrosting or defogging, set the mode to the floor defrost position.
- Before driving, clear snow and ice from the windshield, rear window, outside rearview mirrors, and all side windows.
- Remove all snow and ice from the hood and the hood air intake grille to improve heater and defroster efficiency and reduce the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield.
