Opening the Trunk

To open the trunk from inside the vehicle, pull the trunk release lever.

Once the trunk is opened and then closed, the trunk automatically locks.

✽ NOTICE

In cold and humid climates, the trunk lock and trunk mechanisms may not operate properly due to freezing conditions.

WARNING

The trunk lid swings upward. Make sure there are no objects or people near the rear of the vehicle when opening the trunk.

CAUTION

Make sure the trunk is closed before driving the vehicle. Possible damage to attached equipment may occur if the trunk is not closed before driving.
