Changing the LKA System Function

~1min read

The driver can change LKA to Lane Departure Warning (LDW) or change the LKA mode from the user settings mode on the LCD.

Lane Keeping Assist

LKA mode helps the driver keep the vehicle in the lane. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is driving confidently within the lane. However, it starts controlling the steering wheel when the vehicle is about to deviate from the lane.

LDW warns the driver with a visual and audible warning when the system detects that the vehicle is leaving its lane. In this mode, the steering wheel will not be controlled. When the front wheel of the vehicle touches the inner edge of the lane marking, LKA issues a lane departure warning.
