Low fuel warning light |
This light comes on when about 9.0 liters of fuel remain in the tank.CAUTIONThe time the light stays on may vary, because the fuel in the tank moves depending on driving conditions and the vehicle's angle of inclination. |
Refuel the vehicle. |
Seat belt warning light (front seat) |
After the ignition switch is set to ON, the unfastened seat belt warning light comes on if the driver's or front passenger's seat is occupied and the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is not fastened. |
CAUTION
- If the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is unfastened after the warning light has come on, and the vehicle speed exceeds 20 km/h, the warning light will flash again.
- Placing heavy objects on the front passenger seat may cause the passenger seat belt warning to activate, depending on the weight of such objects.
- To ensure the passenger seat occupancy sensor operates correctly, do not place additional cushions on the seat or sit on them. The sensor may not function properly because an additional cushion may interfere with its operation.
- The warning light may not operate if a small child sits in the front passenger seat.

Low washer fluid warning light*
(Illuminated) Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning light*
WARNING
If the system warning light comes on or flashes, or a warning chime sounds, immediately reduce vehicle speed while avoiding sudden steering and braking: If the system warning light comes on or flashes, or a warning chime sounds, driving at high speed or sudden steering or braking is dangerous.
Vehicle handling may deteriorate, which may result in an accident.
To check the tires, stop in a safe place and visually check whether there is enough air to reach a specialized service center where the pressure can be adjusted and the system checked again. We recommend a Mazda Authorized Dealer or a tire service shop.
Do not ignore the TPMS warning light: Ignoring the TPMS warning light endangers safety, even if you know why it is on. Have the problem resolved as soon as possible, before a dangerous situation arises that could lead to tire damage or a serious accident.
CAUTION
- Adjust the pressure when the tires are cold.
Tire pressure changes depending on tire temperature, so add air at least one hour after driving or after driving no more than 1.6 km (1 mile). If you inflate hot tires to the level recommended for cold tires, the TPMS warning light/chime may come on after the tires cool down, and the pressure will drop below the required value.
The TPMS warning light, which indicates a pressure drop caused by low ambient temperature, will remain on even if the ambient temperature rises. In this case, the tire pressure must also be topped up. If the TPMS warning light comes on due to a drop in tire pressure, check and correct the pressure to the proper level.
Apply a few drops of water to the valve stem to check whether bubbles form, which would indicate a valve leak.
Air loss from a tire endangers safety, so if air loss is detected, simply adding air is not enough - the tire should be taken to a qualified service center. We recommend an Authorized Mazda Service Center.
(Orange) Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) warning light*
Check the cause of the warning light on the center display (page 7-34).
