IN AN EMERGENCY
Key Removed from Vehicle Warning
In this manual: IN AN EMERGENCY
~1min read
The chime sounds 6 times and the KEY indicator light (red) flashes continuously if the ignition switch is not in the OFF position, not all doors are closed, and the key has been removed from the vehicle. This alerts the driver that the key has been removed from the vehicle and the ignition switch is not in the OFF position.
CAUTION
Since the key uses low-power radio waves, the key outside the vehicle warning may activate if the key is near a metal object or in a location with poor signal reception.
