TIMING

Service interval:
No replacement interval for the chain.

AUXILIARY BELTS

Service interval: Check at every service.

ENGINE OIL

Capacities:
180 and 200 CDI engines: 5.8 litres.

Recommendation:
Multigrade oil of viscosity:

• engines without particulate filter: SAE 10W40 / 15W40 / 5W30 / 5W40.

• engines with particulate filter: SAE 5W30.

Service interval: According to the maintenance indicator.

OIL FILTER

Replaceable filter cartridge housed in a casing, on the right side of the engine compartment.

Service interval: Replace at every engine oil change.

AIR FILTER

Dry air filter with replaceable element, located in a housing in the centre of the engine compartment.

Service interval: Replace every 120,000 km or 4 years.

FUEL FILTER

Fuel filter mounted in the engine compartment, to the left of the air filter.

From September 2007 and on certain versions, a water-in-fuel sensor is fitted at the base of the filter; it also incorporates a bleed screw.

Service interval: Replace every 80,000 km or 4 years.

COOLANT

System capacity:

• 180 CDI engine with manual gearbox: 6.8 litres.

• 180 CDI engine with automatic gearbox: 6.5 litres.

• 200 CDI engine with manual gearbox: 10.8 litres.

• 200 CDI engine with automatic gearbox: 9.8 litres.

Recommendation:
Mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze.

Level:
Check the level every 2,000 km or before a long journey.

Service interval: Every 250,000 km or every 15 years.
