WARNING
- The air conditioning cooling function can only be activated when the engine is running.
- Never leave children or people who usually need assistance from others alone in your vehicle. Do not leave pets unattended either. They could injure themselves or someone else by accidentally starting the vehicle. Also, on hot, sunny days, the temperature inside the passenger compartment can rise quickly to a level that may cause serious injury or death to a person or animal trapped inside the vehicle.
- Do not use recirculation mode for long periods, as the air inside the passenger compartment may become stale and the windows may fog up.
To turn on the air conditioner, start the engine and activate the appropriate controls.
NOTE:
- Odors from inside the vehicle to the outside may build up in the air conditioning unit. The odor may enter the passenger compartment through the air vents.
- When parking your vehicle, adjust the heating and air conditioning controls to turn off recirculation and allow fresh air to enter the passenger compartment. This should help reduce odors in the vehicle.
