Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Loosen the cable nuts at the clutch release fork lever.

2. Inside the vehicle, disconnect the cable from the pedal. It may be necessary to remove the instrument panel.

3. Disconnect the pedal return spring from the bracket.

4. Remove the nut and the shaft, then remove the pedal with the spring.

5. Check the condition of the bushings and the shaft. Replace worn parts.

Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Press in and lubricate the bushings.

2. Install the pedal with the spring, insert the shaft and install the nut.

3. Install the spring onto the cups.

4. Connect the cable and check the pedal adjustment.
