Choosing how to fit the child seat
Rear-facing child seats

A baby's head is proportionally heavier than an adult's and its neck is very fragile. Carry the child in this position for as long as possible (until at least 2 years of age).
It supports the head and neck.
Choose a shell-type seat for better side protection and change it as soon as the child's head extends beyond the shell.
Forward-facing child seats

A child's head and abdomen are the priority areas to protect. A forward-facing child seat securely fixed to the vehicle reduces the risk of head impact. Carry your child in a forward-facing seat with a harness for as long as their size allows.
Choose an enveloping seat for better side protection.
Booster seats

From 15 kg or 4 years of age, the child may travel on a booster seat, which allows the seat belt to fit the child's body. The booster seat cushion must have guides that position the belt over the child's thighs and not over the stomach. A height-adjustable backrest fitted with a belt guide is recommended to position the belt across the middle of the shoulder. It must never be across the neck or the arm.
Choose an enveloping seat for better side protection.
