Operation

Most objects near the front, rear and sides of the vehicle are detected.
Depending on the distance to the obstacle, the frequency of the audible signal increases until it becomes continuous when the distance is approx. 20 cm at the sides and 30 cm at the front and rear. Green, orange and red zones appear on display C.
Detecting obstacles at the sides

Depending on the steering wheel position, the system determines the vehicle's path and warns of the risk of collision with an obstacle 3 located at the side of the vehicle.
When the system detects an obstacle at the side of the vehicle:
- if there is a risk of collision, an audible signal sounds with a frequency that increases as you approach the obstacle, until it becomes continuous. Green, orange and red zones appear on display D;
- if there is no risk of collision, no signal sounds when approaching the obstacle. Green, orange and red zones will be shown hatched on display D.
Note: if the path is changed while maneuvering, the risk of collision with an obstacle may be signaled with a delay.
If the underbody of the vehicle strikes an object while maneuvering (for example, a post, a raised curb or another road element), the vehicle may be damaged (e.g. bent axle).To avoid the risk of a more serious fault, have the vehicle inspected by an Authorised Brand Partner.
