If the vehicle underbody strikes an object during a manoeuvre (for example, hitting a kerb, a raised curb or another road obstacle), the vehicle may be damaged (e.g. bent axle).

To avoid the risk of a more serious fault, have the vehicle inspected by an Authorised Brand Partner.

While driving, the parking brake must be fully released (red warning light off), otherwise there is a risk of overheating or even damage. When parked, depending on the slope of the ground and/or the vehicle load, it may be necessary to move the lever an additional two positions and engage a gear (1st or reverse) in vehicles with a manual gearbox, or set the gear selector to P in vehicles with an automatic gearbox.
