Malfunctions

• while driving, if the message "CHECK GEARBOX" appears in the instrument panel, this indicates a fault.

Contact an authorised brand dealer as soon as possible;

while driving, if the message "gearbox overheating" appears in the instrument panel, stop as soon as it is safe to do so so that the gearbox can cool down and the message goes out;

towing a vehicle with an automatic gearbox, see the "Towing" section in chapter 5.

For safety reasons, never switch off the engine before the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

If, when starting the engine, the lever is locked in position P while the brake pedal is pressed, the lever can be released manually.

To do this, remove the lever base cover, then insert a tool (rigid pin) into slot 6 and press button 7 at the same time until the lever is released.
