After stopping the vehicle, keep your foot on the brake pedal and move the lever to position P: the gearbox lever is in neutral and the drive wheels are mechanically locked.

Apply the parking brake.

If the underbody of the vehicle strikes an object while maneuvering (for example, a post, a raised curb or another road element), the vehicle may be damaged (e.g. bent axle).

To avoid the risk of a more serious fault, have the vehicle inspected by an Authorised Brand Partner.
