Tools

The tools supplied in the tool holder depend on the vehicle.

Tool holder A is located in the tray under the luggage compartment floor.

Lift the cover, then remove it.

Wheel brace 1

It is used to loosen or tighten the wheel bolts and the towing eye 5.

Jack 2

Fold it correctly before returning it to its housing (make sure to reposition the crank handle correctly).

Hub cap tool 3

It is used to remove the wheel trims.

Wheel bolt guide 4

Used to finish unscrewing or to start screwing in the wheel bolts.

Towing eye 5

Refer to the paragraph “Towing: breakdown assistance” in chapter 5.

Lever 6

It is used to tighten or loosen the towing eye 5.

Never leave tools loose in the vehicle: risk of projectiles in the event of braking. After use, make sure to clip the tools into the tool holder, then position it correctly in its housing: risk of injury.

If wheel bolts are supplied in the tool holder, use these bolts exclusively for the spare wheel: refer to the label located on the spare wheel.

The jack is intended for changing a wheel only. It must never be used to carry out a repair or to work underneath the vehicle.
