SUPPLY PRESSURE CHECK

WARNING: when opening the fuel circuit, protect yourself with a rag against fuel spray caused by residual pressure. Disconnect the fuel supply line using large-section tool Mot. 1311-06 (method described in chapter 13, "Fuel Rail").

Fit the Mot. 1311-05 T-piece to the fuel rail, then reconnect the fuel supply line to the T-piece.

Fit the 0-10 bar pressure gauge and flexible hose Mot. 1311-01.

Bridge terminals (3) and (5) of the fuel pump relay (K) located in the engine fuse box.

The pressure must be 3 bar ± 0.2.
With a vacuum of 500 mbar applied to the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pressure must be 2.5 bar ± 0.2.
