This function is designed to prevent battery discharge. The system automatically turns off the parking lights when the key (remote key) is removed or when the driver turns off the engine (smart key) and opens the driver's door.

Due to this function, the parking lights automatically turn off if the driver parks on the roadside at night.

If you need the lights to remain on with the engine off, perform the following:

1) Open the driver's door.

2) Turn the parking lights off and on again using the light switch on the steering column.
