  • The Smart Trunk operates with the welcome warning if the smart key is detected within 20~40 in. (50~100 cm) of the trunk.
  • The warning stops immediately if the Smart Key is outside the detection area during the detection and warning stage.

Information

• The Smart Trunk function will not operate in the following cases:

- The smart key is near a radio transmitter, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with normal operation of the transmitter.
- The smart key is near a mobile two-way radio system or cellular phone.
- A smart key of another vehicle is being used near your vehicle.

• The detection range may decrease or increase when:

- One side of the tire is lifted for tire replacement or vehicle inspection.
- The vehicle is parked on a slope or on a dirt road, etc.
