Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
  2. Remove the TCM. (Refer to Dual Clutch Transmission Control System - "TCM").
  3. Remove the battery and tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System — "Battery")
  4. Remove the clutch actuator. (Refer to Dual Clutch Transmission Control System - "Clutch Actuator")
  5. Disconnect the input shaft speed sensor (A).
  6. Remove the input shaft speed sensor by loosening the bolts (A-2ea).

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Before installing the input speed sensor, check the condition of the O-rings (A) and apply transmission fluid to the surface of the O-rings.
