Filtr powietrza

If the air filter becomes clogged with dust, intake resistance will increase, resulting in reduced engine power and higher fuel consumption.

GTI VERSION: Remove the filter housing by unscrewing the 2 bolts and 1 nut securing the housing to the body.

Release the side clips and remove the element from the filter housing. If it looks dirty, replace it with a new one.

GAGLGLX-GS VERSION: Remove the air filter element by unscrewing the wing nut and releasing the clips, as shown in the illustration. If the element looks dirty, replace it with a new one.

NOTICE The air filter element should be replaced every 40,000 km. More frequent replacement is necessary when driving in dusty conditions.
