The table below shows when periodic maintenance of the vehicle must be carried out. It gives, in kilometres and months, when to inspect, adjust, lubricate and perform other maintenance tasks. Maintenance intervals should be shortened if the vehicle is normally operated under severe conditions (see "Maintenance recommended under severe operating conditions").

WARNING SUZUKI recommends that maintenance items marked with an asterisk (*) be carried out by an authorised SUZUKI service station or an experienced automotive mechanic. If you are capable, you may carry out maintenance on unmarked items by following the instructions in this chapter. If you are not sure you can correctly perform an unmarked item, have it done by an authorised SUZUKI service station. RECOMMENDATION Whenever parts need to be replaced on the vehicle, it is recommended to use genuine SUZUKI replacement parts or equivalent.
