Removing

  • Remove backrest cover and backrest padding → Chapter.
  • Remove connecting Bowden cable → Chapter.
WARNING

Risk of eye injury.

Wear eye protection.
Removing and installing mounting bracket for backrest release mechanism
  • Push Bowden cable end-piece -1- in -direction of arrow- off mounting bracket for backrest release mechanism using a screwdriver.
  • Drill out rivet -2- on backrest frame.
  • Remove mounting bracket for backrest release mechanism -3- from backrest frame.

Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
