Avviamento del motore

AVVERTENZA

• Indossare sempre calzature adeguate durante la guida del veicolo. Calzature non idonee, come tacchi alti, scarponi da sci, sandali, ciabatte, ecc., possono impedire di usare correttamente i pedali del freno, dell'acceleratore e della frizione.
• Non avviare il veicolo con il pedale dell'acceleratore premuto. Il veicolo potrebbe muoversi, con il rischio di incidente.
• Attendere che il regime del motore si stabilizzi. Il veicolo potrebbe muoversi improvvisamente se il pedale del freno viene rilasciato quando il regime è elevato.

Informazioni

• Il motore si avvia premendo il pulsante di avviamento/arresto del motore solo quando la chiave intelligente si trova all'interno del veicolo.
• Anche se la chiave intelligente si trova all'interno del veicolo, se è lontana dal conducente il motore potrebbe non avviarsi.
• Quando il pulsante di avviamento/arresto del motore è in posizione ACC o ON, se una porta è aperta, il sistema verifica la presenza della chiave intelligente. Se la chiave intelligente non si trova nel veicolo "" la spia lampeggia e appare il messaggio "Chiave non nel veicolo"; se tutte le porte sono chiuse, suona anche un cicalino per circa 5 secondi. Tenere la chiave intelligente all'interno del veicolo quando si utilizza la posizione ACC o quando il motore è acceso.

Avviamento del motore a benzina

Veicolo con cambio manuale:

1. Portare sempre la chiave intelligente con sé.

2. Assicurarsi che il freno di stazionamento sia inserito.

3. Verificare che la leva del cambio sia in posizione di folle.

4. Premere i pedali della frizione e del freno.

5. Premere il pulsante di avviamento/arresto motore.

Veicolo con cambio automatico / cambio a doppia frizione:

1. Portare sempre la chiave intelligente con sé.

2. Assicurarsi che il freno di stazionamento sia inserito.

3. Assicurarsi che la leva del cambio sia in posizione P (Parcheggio).

4. Premere il pedale del freno.

5. Premere il pulsante di avviamento/arresto motore.

Informazioni

• Non attendere che il motore si riscaldi con il veicolo fermo. Iniziare la marcia a un regime motore moderato. Evitare accelerazioni brusche e decelerazioni improvvise.
• Avviare sempre il veicolo con il piede sul pedale del freno. Non premere il pedale dell'acceleratore durante l'avviamento del veicolo. Non avviare il motore mentre è in fase di riscaldamento.

Avviamento del motore diesel

Per avviare un motore diesel a freddo, è necessario prima riscaldarlo con la funzione di preriscaldamento, quindi attendere che si riscaldi prima di iniziare la marcia.

Veicolo con cambio manuale:

1. Always carry the smart key with you.
2. Make sure the parking brake is applied.
3. Make sure the shift lever is in the neutral position.
4. Depress the clutch and brake pedals.
5. Press the engine START/STOP button.
6. Continue depressing the brake pedal until the indicator light () comes on.
7. When the indicator light () goes off, the engine will start.

Vehicle with dual clutch transmission:

1. Always carry the smart key with you.
2. Make sure the parking brake is applied.
3. Make sure the shift lever is in the P (Park) position.
4. Depress the brake pedal.
5. Press the engine START/STOP button.
6. Continue depressing the brake pedal until the indicator light () comes on.
7. When the indicator light () goes off, the engine will start.

Informazioni

If the engine START/STOP button is pressed during engine preheating, the engine may start.

Starting and stopping the engine with turbocharger intercooler

1. Do not race the engine or accelerate immediately after starting the engine. If the engine is cold, run it at idle for a few seconds until sufficient lubrication is provided to the turbocharger.

2. After high speed or prolonged driving that requires a heavy engine load, idle the engine for about 1 minute before turning the engine off. This idle time allows the turbocharger to cool down before the engine is turned off.

Do not turn off the engine immediately after it has been under heavy load. This may cause serious damage to the engine or turbocharger.

AVVISO

Per evitare danni al veicolo:

• If the engine stalls while driving, do not attempt to move the shift lever to the P (Park) position. If traffic and road conditions permit, you may place the shift lever in the N (Neutral) position while the vehicle is still moving and press the engine START/STOP button when attempting to restart the engine.
• Non spingete né trainate il veicolo per avviare il motore.

AVVISO

To prevent damage to the vehicle: Do not press the engine START/STOP button for more than 10 seconds, except when the stop lamp fuse has blown.

When the stop lamp fuse has blown, you cannot start the engine normally. Replace the fuse with a new one. If you are unable to replace the fuse, you can start the engine by pressing and holding the engine START/STOP button for 10 seconds with the engine START/STOP button in the ACC position.

For your safety, always depress the brake and/or clutch pedal before starting the engine.

If the smart key battery is discharged or the smart key does not operate properly, you can start the engine by pressing the engine START/STOP button with the smart key in the direction shown in the illustration above.
