Every 15,000 km or at least once a year, we recommend cleaning the paper filter element of larger dirt particles. When driving on very dusty roads, this interval may be reduced to daily cleaning.


PROCEDURE

Remove the paper filter element as described above.

Tap the filter on a hard surface to dislodge large dirt particles.

If fine dust must also be removed, blow compressed air along the sides of the pleats. Never direct the compressed air stream directly at the filter paper! Otherwise, dust particles will become tightly lodged in the filter pores.

Wipe the filter housing with a clean cloth.

Install the filter in place.
