Wheel bolts must match the wheels.

Wheels and wheel bolts are designed to match each other. For this reason, whenever wheels are replaced with different wheels, for example alloy wheels or winter tire wheels, the correct wheel bolts must be used, with the correct length and a suitable seat (cone or ball) shape. Correct wheel attachment and the function of the braking system depend on this.

Audi workshops are familiar with the technical options for replacing or retrofitting tires, wheels or wheel trims.

Wheel bolts must be clean and must not seize.
