Switching off the system

Push the lever up or down. The indicators in the instrument cluster go out.

The system also switches off when you brake, are slow to shift gears, or select neutral (N). In addition, the system switches off automatically:

► when DTC is switched on;

► when DSC is intervening or is forcibly switched off;

► when the system cannot distinguish objects (for example, on minor roads without barriers) and when the radar sensor is dirty;

► if, due to the traffic situation, the system reduces speed below 30 km/h.

To avoid an accident when the system switches off, the driver must brake or steer around the obstacle.◄
