Cornering behavior
In this manual: Operation
~1min read

The system reduces speed when cornering if the set speed is too high to negotiate the curve. However, it cannot predict the appearance of curves. Therefore, at the beginning of a curve, maintain an appropriate speed.
When cornering, the system may lose track of the vehicle ahead or detect it late, due to the limited field of view of its sensor.

At the beginning of a curve, the system may briefly react to a vehicle in the adjacent lane. The braking applied by the system can be overridden by briefly pressing the accelerator pedal. After the accelerator pedal is released, the system becomes active again and regulates speed automatically.
