Heavy rain, as well as dirt, snow and ice, may prevent detection of vehicles ahead. If necessary, clean the radar sensor located under the front bumper.

Remove snow and ice particularly thoroughly.

If the sensor is incorrectly adjusted, Active Cruise Control does not switch on.
