Setting the Scrolling Display for MP3 Mode

The following messages scroll across the display each time the player changes to another track. After scrolling, the display returns to the previous indication.

Possible scrolling messages:

• Directory name ("DIR NAME")
• Track name ("SONG NAME")
• Album name ("ALBM NAME")
• Artist name ("ARTIST")
• File name ("FILE NAME")

• The artist name, track name and album name are contained in the MP3 ID tag (version 1) and are displayed only if they are present in the MP3 file being played. For more information, refer to

the instructions for the MP3 playback software or the CD burning software of the personal computer.

To change the information shown on the display,press the 9 MENU button.

Press the upper or lower 6 button until "MP3 DISP" appears on the display.

Use the 6 button to select the desired information for the MP3 scrolling text.

After completing the setting,press the MENU button 9 twice.
