CD Changer Mode

• For information on handling compact discs, loading them, and operating the CD changer, refer to the owner's manual supplied with the CD changer.

SWITCHING TO CD CHANGER MODE Press the SRC button until "CHANGER" appears on the display.

The radio will start playing the first compact disc detected by the CD changer.

SELECTING COMPACT DISCS To change from one compact disc to another:

press the upper or lower 6 button one or more times.

• The unit skips empty slots in the changer and slots containing unsupported discs.

SELECTING TRACKS To change from one track to another on the current compact discpress the left or right 6 button one or more times.

FAST FORWARD/REVERSE WITH AUDIO To fast forward or reverse through a track,press and hold the upper or lower 6 button until the scan starts.

REPEATING INDIVIDUAL TRACKS OR THE ENTIRE COMPACT DISC (REPEAT) To repeat the current track,briefly press the 10 4 RPT button.

"RPT TRCK" will appear on the display for a short time, and the RPT indicator will illuminate.

To repeat the compact disc,press and hold the 10 4 RPT button again.

"RPT DISC" will appear on the display for a short time, and the RPT indicator will illuminate.

Cancelling Repeat Playback* To cancel repeat playback of the current track or compact disc,briefly press the 10 4 RPT button.

"RPT OFF" will appear on the display for a short time, and the RPT indicator will go out.

RANDOM PLAYBACK (MIX) To play the tracks of the current compact disc in random order:

briefly press the 10 5 MIX button.

"MIX CD" will appear on the display for a short time, and the MIX indicator will illuminate.

To play the tracks of all compact discs in random order,press and hold the 10 5 MIX button again.

"MIX ALL" will appear on the display for a short time, and the MIX indicator will illuminate.

Cancelling Random Playback Briefly press the 10 5 MIX button.

"MIX OFF" will appear on the display and the MIX indicator will go out.

SCANNING ALL COMPACT DISC TRACKS (SCAN) To scan (play the beginning of) the tracks on all compact discs in sequence,press and hold the 9 MENU button for more than two seconds.

"TRK SCAN" with the flashing number of the current track will appear on the display.

"MIX OFF" will appear on the display and the MIX indicator will go out.

Cancelling Scan Mode To stop scanning,briefly press the 9 MENU button.

Normal playback of the scanned track will start.

• You can set the scan time. For more information, refer to "Setting the Scan Time" in the "Radio Reception" section.

TEMPORARY PLAYBACK STOP (PAUSE) Press the 10 3 button.

“PAUSE” appears on the display.

Canceling Pause In pause mode, press the 10 3 button.

Playback will resume.
